Lebert trainees on visit to Cargoline HUB in Eichenzell
On the evening of Friday, 13th April 2007 at 10:30 p.m., that is at "rush hour", 10 young people in their 2nd and 3rd year as trainees at Lebert, Erbach visited the HUB of Cargoline in Eichenzell.
Mr. Schröder, managing director of the forwarding agency John and Mrs. Bergemann, the responsible training manager showed the trainees round.
When our trainees arrived at the premises of the forwarding agency John all of the 66 ramps were already occupied. Inside the storage with a size of 6500 m² 40 employees and the drivers were busy unloading and loading the trucks. The persons in charge of the HUB explained the individual steps of the complex HUB system. During the visit everybody had to be careful not to stand in the way as more than 40 fork-lift trucks and hand pallet trucks were carrying out the distribution of consignments in the storage at an unbelievable speed.
Our trainees found it very interesting to see this complex and strictly organised system and to experience the flow of goods and information on site.
We would like to thank the fantastic team of Messrs. John once more for the interesting guidance and the time invested.
